The most common design of Pallet Racking used is the standardized "teardrop" connection design makes the uprights and crossbeam interchangeable with those from other manufacturers. This design is very versatile and the boltless design simplifies reconfiguration of beam levels. The alternative to boltless racking is structural pallet rack which is assembled with mechanical fasteners (usually bolts) and may offer higher capacities. Structural pallet racking is also sometimes designed into the structure of the building itself supporting the roof and eliminating the need for I-beams.

Uprights
Upright frames
are large vertical pieces that form the “walls” of the structure,
determining how tall and how deep your storage system will be. Each
upright includes two tall beams and the necessary components that
connect them together. Frame sizes range from 72" to 192"
high—even higher in some situations. The depths of these units
generally range from 36" to 48". At least two pairs of
upright frames (4 total) are required for each system. In large
operations, multiple upright frames are used to form long rows.
Heights:
4' to 32' Depths:12" to 84" Capacities:
12,000 lbs to 60,000 lbs Reinforcements: Varies Common Sizes: 8 FEET TALL: 36"/42"/48" X 96" - 12 FEET TALL: 36"/42"/48" X 144" - 16 FEET TALL: 36"/42"/48" X 192" - 20 FEET TALL: 42" X 240"
Beams
Easily installed, safe,
cost-effective and versatile; adjustable beam
racking is the most widely used of pallet storage systems and allows
direct access to each pallet stored. By selecting from a wide range of
sizes and duties for standard uprights and beams, racking can be
configured to meet precise criteria in terms of load
volume and weight, accessibility, handling requirements and space
utilization. We also offer a variety of practical add-on accessories to
make the storage and handling of goods even easier.
Wire
decking can be used with Pallet Racking and Cantilever Racking.
Generally used when product is placed into racking without pallets.
Wire decking increases worker safety, productivity, and reduces product
damage. It provides fire protection and makes sprinkler systems more
efficient. There are other types of decking available including solid
decking.
As a precaution, wire decking is not designed to be walked on or stepped on.
Available
finishes include electro-galvanized for rust resistance.
Custom sized wire decking is available.
